Local Love: Huntington Beach! {September '17}

Since moving to Elyria and getting further involved in church, Northeast Ohio has finally started to feel like home again (not kidding though, I spent over a year just homesick for Kentucky!).

Part of feeling at home is enjoying the things the area has to offer, and in Kentucky that meant hiking the Pinnacles, eating delicious dinners at Saul Good in Lexington, walking the Berea College campus, and enjoying the artwork in Old Town.

So, I was inspired to start putting a spotlight on local areas I've found here.

For September, I wanted to focus on Huntington Beach in Bay Village, a mere 5 minute drive from my office, and a fantastic way to spend an afternoon, or to check out at sunrise, or just to stop by for a few minutes on a lunch break!

Huntington beach has earned the reputation of being the cleanest beach around Cleveland, and I would have to agree. It's also great to see the wildlife, from deer and seagulls to squirrels and chipmunks.

And honestly, what could be more beautiful than a sunrise or sunset over the water?

It's peaceful and picturesque. As a friend commented on one of the pictures, "Who knew a little piece of heaven exists in Northeast Ohio?"
